Shaykh Hassan attends Napier University Chaplaincy Launch

Posted on: 15 January 2020

Shaykh Hassan was involved in setting up the Chaplaincy at Napier University. He was initially contacted by Mark Wilkinson (Head of Student Wellbeing and Inclusion at Napier University).

Along with other friends, the process took around a year to work on an outline for the chaplaincy. After a year of consultation, the launch took place on Wednesday 15th January, 2020. The event was attended by senior staff of Napier University including the Andrea Nolan the Principal and Vice-Chancellor. Chaplains of different faiths where appointed. For the Muslim chaplain, Shaykh Amin Buxton was appointed. We pray that the Muslim of Edinburgh, and in particular the Muslim students from Napier University, benefit from the Shaykh
